How do I place a return request?

You can return products purchased from us within 7 days of receiving the product, except for our non-returnable items. 

  1. Tap the ‘Return” button against the items in the order. The return button takes 24 hours to get activated after the order is delivered to give you time to make up your mind :).
  2. Returns are subject to approval basis the information/pictures shared with us.
  3. We offer a pick-up facility in selected locations covered by our courier network. We may ask you to self-ship the product to us if our courier does not have a reverse pickup facility at your pin code.
  4. Once you schedule a pick-up, please place the product in a sealed packet. The product must be unused and unwashed, with all the tags intact.
  5. The return will be approved once we receive the product and our staff has quality-checked it. We will then credit your refund amount to the payment instrument you selected within 3-5 business days.


How do I place a return request?

  1. Select items like books, toys, musical instruments, etc., can be replaced in case defective or damaged items are received. They cannot be returned for a refund for any other reason.

  1. Innerwear, silver or gold items, swimwear, accessories, masks, any personal hygiene items, and any personalized items, etc., cannot be returned.

  1. All return pick-ups will be arranged once requests are approved. Requests may be denied if a product is not returnable or is deemed used beyond resale.


How do I get a replacement for an item I ordered?

For replacement of a delivered item that is damaged/defective, please WhatsApp or email us with pictures of the items received.


My PIN code is not eligible for pick-up. How do I place a return request?

In case your area PIN code is not eligible for pick-up, please email us at care@thenestery.in and we will help you self-ship the product to us. Please remember to use a reputable courier with a tracking facility so that we are able to monitor the return at our end.


The product must be unused, and unwashed and all the tags must be intact. Please pack the product with the order invoice and tax invoice in the return packet. In the absence of the invoice, please mention the order number and your phone number on a piece of paper along with the package.


We will also refund shipping charges up to INR 100 or actuals, whichever is lower if you communicate the charges with us over email along with a receipt.



Why did the pick-up of my product fail?

We make three attempts to pick up the item. If the item is not picked up on the third attempt, the pick-up request is marked as failed. If your pickup does not happen for more than 48 working  hours from the first pickup date requested by you, please email us at care@thenestery.in.


How long will it take me to receive the bank refund of the returned product?

We take 3-5 business days from the date of receipt of the returned items to process your refund. It is always recommended to check your bank statement. You will also receive an email confirmation from The Nestery on your registered email id.


The refund will reflect under the name of “Yellow Birds Retail Pvt Ltd” on your statement for COD and prepaid orders.


Payments made via Gift Card will be refunded to a new gift card. We cannot refund into bank accounts for gift card payments.


Can items be returned after the time mentioned in the return policy?

All return requests must be received within 7 days of delivery.


Why am I unable to place a return request from the app/website?

It could be that you are trying to return a non-returnable item, or that the return window has closed. Personal use items, personalized products, books and toys are not eligible for returns. The return request can only be placed once per product within 7 days of delivery.


What is The Nestery’s return policy?

  2. If the received item is damaged or doesn’t match the product description, we’re happy to replace it. If we don’t have a replacement in stock, we’ll refund you the full amount paid by you.
