There are food stands, game stalls and fun rides! Ramu and Sara eat popcorn ??, play ringtoss and feed a horse. They spend the whole day going on all the rides!
By night-time, the fair is all lit up. And it’s finally time to go on the giant wheel! ??
Ramu is excited at first, but then he sees a giant?? DANGER ?? sign. The Giant Wheel is HUGE! What if he falls from the top?
Will Ramu be brave enough to go on the ride?
This endearing story gently explores overcoming fears in a reassuring manner. Set in a bustling Indian fair, Chetan’s vivid artwork brings Karishma’s lyrical story to life in a riot of colour.
Ms Moochie Books is an independent publishing house. They publish contemporary Indian books for children. What sets them apart is their unique story → book process. All new stories are taken to classrooms by storytellers. Feedback from the children is passed on to the author. She makes changes. This loop is iterated till the children give the story an emphatic thumbs up, after which the book is made. This allows them to actively involve the reader, i.e the child, in the making of the book.
